The Lovely blogger extraordiaire Susie Lau, aka Susie Bubble, recently took a trip to one of Hong Kong’s favourite boutique’s Liger, where she discovered RdM by Rue du Mail.
“RDM by Rue du Mail lattice sleeved top, P.A.M. wrapover skirt – I didn’t even know Rue du Mail had a diffusion line and yes, this did make me feel like a doofus. I get the feeling it’s only properly distributed in Asia, as with some of the lines by big fashion houses (Lanvin Bleu, anyone?). I love the neoprene lattice work on this top which also features as a peplum in the rest of the collection.”

Harpers Bazaar’s ongoing support for Women for Women International has this year united Paris’ leading female designers to create a T-shirt to help women in war-torn countries.
“Such sentiments strike a chord with Sitbon, who, from her time at the helm of Chloe in the Eighties, famously nurtured a new breed of female talent, including Phoebe Philo and Isabel Marant. ‘From an early age, I felt the importance of a powerful feminine force,’ she says. ‘With an Italian mother and older sisters I had neverending support, help and protection.’ Sitbon has delved into a ’spiritual and imaginary dreamworld’ for her design – out of entangled and intricate lines, the metaphor is quiet strength: ‘a blossoming’, she says. ‘The birds evoke a way to freedom.’”
